SpO2 Assistant - How to save data to computer

Warning: For some devices, everytime the record function is turned ON, it wipes out the recorded data inside the device. After each recording session, save the data to the computer prior to starting another one.

Archive data saved in the oximeter using SpO2 Assistant.

  1. Connect the oximeter to the computer either via the USB port or Bluetooth. If using Bluetooth, the "wireless" in the oximeter must be set to "ON".
  2. Start SpO2 Assostant software.

  4. Select Connect Device button (the one that looks like a DB9 socket). A window would show the devices available (see diagram below).

  6. Check the "View device stored data only" box for downloading the stored data inside the oximeter. Then click the "Connect" button.
  7. The next window would show all the data saved inside the oximeter. Select the one you are interested in and then click the "Receive Data" button.

  11. To examine the file, select "File" >> "Open File" to open the file you are interested in.

Save real time data using SpO2 Assistant.

  7. The next window would display the real time data sent from the oximeter. You may need to wait for 5-10 seconds for the data to show.

  9. To stop the recording, click "close" icon on the upper left corner of the screen (the icon looks like a house). Then a message box would prompt you to save the data.

  11. To examine the file, select "File" >> "Open File" to open the file you are interested in.
